Village Services | Community Policing

Neighborhood watch is a program designed to help individual citizens help themselves and their neighbors to prevent crime! How do you get started?

1. Talk to your neighbors, what are your concerns?
2. Decide on a date and time you would like to meet.
3. Contact Sergeant Del Bianco at the New Lenox Police Department to set up a meeting. (815) 462-6100.

At these meetings Mayor Mike Smith and Chief Dan Martin are present to answer you questions and concerns. Rumors will be extinguished and you will be given first hand information not only about activity in your neighborhood but the village as a whole.

"The police are the people and the people are the police. Police are paid full-time to do what is incumbent on every citizen."

- Sir Robert Peel
