The Finance Department is comprised of accounting and utility billing. The department is responsible for all financial operations of the Village including maintaining the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, investments and fixed assets. The department also prepares the annual budget and comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR).
The Finance Director is also the Village Treasurer, and, as such, functions as treasurer to the Police Pension Fund. This includes investment decisions and all financial transactions required in the pension fund.
The Utility Billing function is responsible for the billing and collection of fees for water, sewer and recycling service.
