Aerobic Digesters

Aerobic digestion is the next step in our stabilization of the sludge. We have large tanks where we add oxygen for mixing and to supply oxygen for the living organisms we use to consume the thickened sludge. The solids spend about 30 days in these tanks and we reduce the volume and we destroy pathogenic bacteria which could be harmful.

We cover these Tanks and clean the air which comes off them prior to release to the atmosphere.
