Independence Day Celebration
Independence Day Celebration 2019

Join us in celebrating our nation's independence with a celebration in the Village Commons!  Don't miss rock cover band Epic as they take the stage from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Following Epic's performance will be the Joliet American Legion Band to lead into the fireworks display with patriotic tunes.  The fireworks display will take place at dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.).

Be sure to bring the little ones to our Kid Zone, located in front of the Village Hall, where they can participate in face painting, games, and patriotic crafts.

Admission to this event is free.  Guests of all ages are permitted.

A portion of Veterans Parkway will be closed to traffic during this event.

Parking is available in the lots of the New Lenox Public Library and Old Plank Trail Community Bank.

We strongly encourage guests to utilize the free parking available at the Route 30 Metra station (300 N. Church Street in New Lenox).  A free shuttle will be provided to the Village Commons beginning at 5:45 p.m.

Handicapped parking is available in the New Lenox Police Department's administrative parking lot, located to the southeast of the New Lenox Police Department.
