Overview
The Parking and Traffic Advisory Board recommends, in an advisory capacity to the Board of Trustees, actions that are aimed at improving parking and traffic conditions in the Village of New Lenox. This advisory board also reviews and makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees on traffic studies prepared by consultants, hired by the Village of New Lenox.
The Parking and Traffic Advisory Board consists of five members, three of whom shall be citizens of the Village and appointed by the Mayor, with the consent of the Board of Trustees. The fourth member of the board shall be the Village Engineer or his/her designee, and the fifth member of the board shall be a police officer trained in traffic control.
