Looking for some inspiration to get out and move??  If so, then you're in LUCK!

The New Lenox School District 122 PTO, along with the NLSD122 Wellness Committee and the Safe Community Coalition have partnered together to host this years "5K for Mental Health & Wellness Fair, Saturday, April 25th, starting at 9am.  

Start your day by walking or running the 5K and then STAY for the Wellness Fair that will include businesses from the surrounding area, who can aid in mental, physical, and nutritional wellness as well as self-care. The fair also includes many fun family activities and food from an assortment of food trucks! 

This is a non-profit event. All proceeds and donations will be evenly presented to two nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations; New Lenox School District 122 Wellness Committee and New Lenox School District 122 PTO. All proceeds will assist in promoting social and emotional learning amongst the students, staff and community.

RACE DETAILS:

Packet Pick-Up: FRIDAY, APRIL 24TH, 4-6PM, at the New Lenox Village Hall 

Packet Pick-Up on RACE DAY begins at 8:15am.

The race begins at 9am (runners first, then walkers)

The Wellness Fair will run from 9am-12pm, in the Village Commons.

The mission of the New Lenox School District 122 Wellness Committee is to promote the lifelong health and wellness of the staff, students, and community through education and efforts that encourage habits of wellness.

The New Lenox School District 122 PTO raises funds to help better the students and their education and wellness through library, music, art, and physical education program enhancements, by replenishing indoor and outdoor recess equipment, academic support grants and assemblies, as well as teacher reimbursements and student scholarships.
