Every year businesses in the village are required to provide the following information annually.

Home Based Businesses
Any person who owns, manages, or operates a home occupation is given the option to register the business with the Village of New Lenox each year. The annual registration fee is $15.00 and is collected at the time of registration. Registration commences on January 1st and expires at midnight on December 31st of each year. Renewals for home occupations are $15.00.
By registering a home occupation with the Village of New Lenox, it gives the business owner an opportunity to be part of Shop New Lenox (PDF), an online business directory.

Coin-operated amusement devices are required by Village ordinance to carry a separate license. These devices include any mechanical or electronic amusement device, operated by deposit of a payment, including those capable of reproducing vocal or instrumental sounds, for amusement or skill (including: pinball, claw, arcade, shooting gallery, etc.). Vending machines, musical devices (such as jukeboxes), and pool/billiard tables are excluded from the license. A fee of $100 per machine per year applies. Stickers for each machine will be mailed out with your Business Registration Certificate. (Video gaming terminals require a separate license from the Village Clerk.)
Register your Coin-operated amusement device as part of your Annual Business Registration Renewal (link).
The following form and required information must be completed for any person wishing to obtain a permit to place, operate, maintain or allow any unattended donation box on any real property within the Village of New Lenox. A separate application is required for each unattended donation box.
The permit is valid for one (1) year.

Promotional Opportunities
The Village of New Lenox and the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce co-host promotions for small businesses owners four times a year. These promotions are free and gives the opportunity to businesses to offer sales or special offers during each promotion. Brochures are printed in a local newspaper, mailed to over 500 businesses in the Village, and posted on several social media websites.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for all events held in the Village Commons. Sponsoring an event is a fantastic way to support the New Lenox community while also promoting your business.
