Christmas in the Commons Tote Bag

Each weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas

In 2023, Christmas in the Commons brought in visitors from various communities.  There were 2,887 letters to Santa received from children in 81 different communities.  This number is a minimal number of attendees because children come to the events with family members.  Christmas in the Commons has a holiday market and the Village offers tote bags to encourage shopping at the market.  Each year 1,000 bags are given out and local businesses are offered the opportunity to sponsor tote bags by paying a fee to have their logo imprinted on the canvas bags.  Sponsorships are sought each year and sell out quickly.  In addition, businesses may provide coupons or lightweight gifts that are inserted in each bag, as a way of marketing their business at no charge.  The Village wants all visitors to the community to shop and eat local and the tote bags are one way to encourage visitors to do so!
