Emergency Services & Disaster Agency

nlesda Logo_new copyNew Lenox Emergency Services and Disaster Agency (ESDA) is a sworn volunteer department of New Lenox which serves the Village of New Lenox and surrounding communities.  We assist the village, police and fire department, public works, park district, area organizations and businesses for a wide array of emergency and non-emergency situations.

We are dedicated to prepare our members with the resources needed to respond to any call, whether it is an emergency or pre-planned event.  We are trained to mitigate any disaster and provide assistance with recovery efforts.

  • Severe Weather Spotting

Our officers are out spotting for severe weather throughout the year.  New Lenox ESDA maintains and operates the outdoor sirens in New Lenox.  For more information, please visit the Outdoor Sirens Webpage (Link) After the severe weather passes, we navigate throughout the village to make sure all roads are passable and evaluate any damage to the village.
